Hygienist Position

Dental Hygienist RDH
Our office is currently looking for only one day of Hygiene coverage , Monday. We schedule one hour prophys for all adults. Root Planning and periodontal scaling is offered as well as non-surgical periodontal continuing care. Our Hygiene department is busy making appointments for their own patients and scheduling all necessary periodontal care. We do offer limited periodontal surgical services and manage an active referral system to local periodontists. From time to time our hygiene staff changes due to transfers or retirement. In this case, the position has been maintained by a hygienist since 2000.

All of our Hygiene staff track their own patients and conduct care calls. Patient/Hygienist relationships are an important part of the success of our program. Dental laser skill would be nice but our training system would bring most Hygienists up to task in a short time.
